“TECHPOLYMER” is used in various LCD display applications such as TVs, PCs, and automotive displays. Its distinctive spherical particles, when used with transparent resins, help diffuse light evenly and make displays brighter and easier to view.
Temperature Range: 40–500°C TECHPOLYMER Compared with ethyl cellulose, IBM-3 begins to decompose at a lower temperature and is completely decomposed at approximately 400°C.

When “TECHPOLYMER” is mixed with ceramic or metal powder and fired, it can be used as a pore former to create pores in the fired material. Selecting products with different particle sizes allows the pore size to be adjusted to meet the requirements of specific applications. |

Application DiagramAnti-Shrink Material
“TECHPOLYMER” provides an anti-shrinkage effect when molding unsaturated polyester (BMC/SMC), melamine, acrylic, and other materials.
SEKISUI DUOMASTER is also used as a low-shrinkage additive for unsaturated polyester (BMC/SMC) and other materials.

| n-Butanol Xylene | LMX-5C | “TECHPOLYMER” consists of acrylic-styrene copolymer particles with controllable composition and structure. Adding it to resins imparts flexibility and toughness and is expected to improve adhesive and mechanical strength. It can be used to modify resins for fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) composites, adhesives, and electronic components such as encapsulants and laminates. | 5 TECHPOLYMER LED Lighting (Light Diffusion) | TECHPOLYMER Applications — LED Lighting (Light Diffusion) |

“TECHPOLYMER” is used as a light-diffusion material in light covers. Our products reduce lamp images and hot spots, which is especially effective for direct light sources such as LEDs. They also reduce uneven brightness and make the entire light cover uniformly bright.Mechanism of Light Diffusion for Brighter Light
Compared with inorganic diffusing agents used in translucent or milky-white molded resin products, “TECHPOLYMER” reduces the loss of total light transmission and diffuses light more brightly.
• Effective in reducing lamp images and hot spots from strong direct light sources such as LEDs.
• Reduces uneven brightness and makes the entire light cover uniformly bright.
• Also helps reduce surface unevenness and adjust gloss (matting) in molded products.
