TOAGOSEI General Information on Acrylic Products
Acrylic Monomers
Acrylic Acid and Acrylates
Acrylic acid and acrylates are highly reactive monomers containing vinyl and carboxyl groups. They have attracted worldwide attention as materials for environmentally compatible high-performance polymers and latex paints.
Acrylic Acid
Acrylic acid is mainly used as a raw material for superabsorbent polymers, viscosity modifiers, and polymer flocculants. Copolymers of acrylic acid with acrylates, acrylonitrile, butadiene, or vinyl acetate are also used in textile processing and many other fields.
Acrylic Acid and Acrylates
TOAGOSEI offers four principal acrylates—methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate—as well as several specialty acrylates. These monomers and copolymers offer excellent transparency, gloss, adhesion, aging resistance, and flexibility, making them suitable for acrylic fibers, textile processing, paints, adhesives, paper processing, leather processing, and synthetic rubber.

2、MACROMONOMER
As high-molecular-weight monomers containing polymerizable functional groups, macromonomers form graft polymers with little homopolymer when polymerized with other monomers. These graft polymers balance properties not achievable with linear polymers, including softness/hardness, crystallinity/amorphousness, and hydrophilicity/water repellency. They are used in paints, molding materials, pressure-sensitive adhesives, binders, and release agents.

Solvent-Free Acrylic Polymers Based on UFO Technology
1、ARUFON
ARUFON is the brand name for solvent-free acrylic polymers developed using SGO (Solid Grade Oligomer) technology introduced from SC Johnson Polymer, Inc. SGO technology continuously bulk-polymerizes compositions, mainly styrenic polymers, at high temperature and pressure to produce low-molecular-weight polymers with 100% efficiency in a short time. Drawing on extensive acrylic polymer synthesis experience, TOAGOSEI improved this technology and developed styrenic, styrene-acrylic, and pure acrylic polymers across a broad range of Tg and molecular weights.
